Advanced driver assistance systems

 What are driver assistance systems?

More and more automobile manufacturers are offering driver assistance systems on their vehicles. They are even included in the standard equipment of some brands. An evolution that we can only encourage! But what are these systems and how do they help you? As they reduce the number of accidents and limit the consequences, they are essential for your safety.

1/Parking assistance systems:

Integrated sensors emit an audible signal during parking maneuvers. They thus warn the driver if his vehicle gets too close to another object.

2/eCall:

eCall is an in-vehicle system that automatically sends a call to an assistance center if you are involved in a serious accident, in order to put the occupant (s) in communication with this control unit.

3/Lane Support:

The lane support, or lane keeping aid, allows the driver to always stay in the center of his lane. This system warns the driver if he deviates without having activated his flashing lights and helps him to correct his trajectory.

4/Attention assist:

A system that identifies signs of driver fatigue and advises them to take a break when these signs appear.

5/Emergency stop or brake system:

An emergency stop or braking system causes the car to brake automatically as soon as it gets too close to another vehicle. The emergency stop or braking is activated if the driver reacts too late and risks causing a collision.
