Announcing a program to use autonomous driving technologies in a Mercedes car

  The German Daimler Group intends to use the computers of the American company NVIDIA in the upcoming Mercedes cars, the group announced today,




The technologies of these computers are expected to be used in driver-assistive systems, as part of autonomous driving, in addition to being fully used in the steering feature in parking spaces.


For his part, Danny Sharpieu, head of auto business at Nvidia, said that software plays a critical role in the automotive sector at the present time, "It is software that can make products better and better."


Nvidia technology processes the data of the various sensors and the software is run using artificial intelligence.



Mercedes is seeking to introduce the first of these cars with the new technology in 2024, and the company stated that with time this technology will be used in all Mercedes-Benz models.









Many companies are currently working on software and other technologies for the autonomous driving system, and Waymo, owned by the Google Group, has come a long way in the field of self-driving cars as it is testing the service of a robot that works as a taxi in the United States.
